Account deletion and data rights

Last updated 23 October 2026.

Close your account

Open Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. Confirm the emailed one-time code and your password. Access closes immediately and a background job processes deletion. Keep the request reference if you need an update. To request deletion outside the app, or if you cannot sign in or obtain the code, email support@intiesltd.com from your account address; we will use a proportionate identity check. Never email an identity document unless we arrange a secure process. Deleting the app or hiding a profile does not delete the account.

What deletion does

Ordinary profile, matching and conversation data, including photos, voice notes and other stored attachments, are removed from active systems within 30 days of verified closure unless specific lawful preservation applies. Existing shared links stop working. A removed photo cannot still be fetched through the app while storage erasure is pending. Processor requests and file purges are tracked separately and failures remain pending. We confirm completion or explain retained categories and the lawful reason. Copies another member made outside INTIES are not under our control.

Normal retention limits

Account/profile and ordinary messages: while needed for the account, then normally erase within 30 days of closure. Review inactive accounts at 24 months; where practicable notify before closure after a further 30 days. Abandoned registrations: 30 days after the last incomplete activity.

Sumsub receives raw identity and selfie material when you start its verification flow; INTIES normally stores only an applicant reference and result. Sumsub's retention is described in its applicable notice and service arrangements. Any raw files INTIES separately receives are normally erased within 30 days of a final decision or abandoned attempt, unless a specific lawful hold applies. Minimal verification outcomes remain while the account is active and for up to 30 days after closure. DBS uploads are disabled.

Routine precise location: remove within 72 hours of the location update, which is at least as short as 72 hours after a session ends. Meeting links expire no later than 48 hours after the stated meeting end, or sooner when revoked. Routine alert and delivery payloads: 30 days. Contact details: until replaced, withdrawn or the account closes, then normally within 30 days.

Ordinary support and unsubstantiated/low-risk safety cases: up to 12 months after closure, with earlier removal of unnecessary material. Substantiated serious cases: up to three years, reviewed at least every six months. A particular legal hold records its reason, scope, basis and review date. Statutory reporting/preservation duties can require different periods; the relevant evidence is segregated from ordinary use.

Routine operational logs: up to 90 days. Call signalling records, including the participants, type and timing but not recorded media: normally removed within seven days. Optional daily app-use counters: up to 90 days, or sooner when you withdraw analytics consent. Privileged-action audit records: up to 12 months, with relevant incident extracts subject to a documented hold. Routine logs must not contain precise locations, contact details, safe words, message bodies or identity files. Minimal consent evidence and rights records: up to three years where needed for accountability or legal claims.

Accounting records: normally six years from the end of the relevant company financial year, longer only where a specific rule or live dispute requires. Retain transaction figures and necessary references, not unrelated dating content. Raw venue receipt evidence: normally remove 90 days after settlement and dispute resolution.

Marketing: stop sends on withdrawal and remove the active entry within 30 days; review inactivity at 24 months. A minimal suppression record may remain to prevent unwanted re-addition, with annual necessity review. Early-access signup alone is not permission for unrelated marketing.

Backups: protected copies expire within 90 days of active-system erasure and remain unavailable for ordinary use. Any restoration must reapply the deletion journal before reopening service. A failed provider purge or unverified backup setting is escalated; it is not marked complete just because a timer elapsed.

Invite Friends referral records (your invite code, credited friend IDs, counts and reward dates) normally follow the same retention as your account record; any related purchase or dispute record instead follows the accounting and hold periods stated above.

Request your data or a correction

Use Settings → Your data & purchases or support@intiesltd.com. You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, applicable portability, objection or human review. We normally respond within one calendar month. If a lawful extension of up to two further months is needed, we explain it within the initial month. Requests are normally free; any lawful refusal, charge or restriction is assessed individually and explained with your complaint rights.
