DRUNK PIGEONS PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 September 2026.

1. Who we are

DRUNK PIGEONS is a mobile arcade game, its online leaderboard, its physical merchandise store, and its advertising-enquiry service, all published and operated by INTIES LTD ("DRUNK PIGEONS", "we", "us" or "our"). INTIES LTD is registered in England and Wales, company number 17433193, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. INTIES LTD is the controller of the personal data described in this notice.

Privacy and support contact: support@intiesltd.com.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers everything under the DRUNK PIGEONS brand: the mobile game and its leaderboard, in-app advertising and in-app purchases, the "advertise with us" enquiry form, the Drunk Pigeons merch store, and support correspondence about any of these. It does not govern Apple, Google or other third-party services, which process data under their own terms and privacy notices. It does not cover INTIES LTD's other products (such as the main INTIES site) — see the link at the end of this notice for that.

3. Privacy at a glance

  • You do not need to create a DRUNK PIGEONS account, or provide your real name or email, to play the core game.
  • The online leaderboard uses an anonymous/random player identifier and a player-chosen nickname. Nicknames are public; the underlying player identifier is not.
  • Optional features do collect more: submitting an advertising enquiry collects your name, email, business details and any artwork you upload; buying merchandise collects your name, email and delivery address; contacting support collects whatever you choose to send us. None of this is required to play the game itself.
  • Advertising in the game is provided through Google AdMob. Ads are currently requested as non-personalised only, but depending on your region, consent choices and device settings, Google may still process device, advertising, interaction, diagnostic and approximate-location information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention.
  • In-app purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play, using RevenueCat to verify and restore entitlements. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
  • We do not provide player-to-player chat, direct messaging, contacts access or public profiles beyond a leaderboard nickname and score.

4. Information we collect

Game and leaderboard

A random/local player identifier, your chosen leaderboard nickname, and game/run data (best distance, mode, run identifier and duration, revive use, and similar validation data) used to operate the leaderboard and detect cheating or abuse. Rate-limiting and anti-abuse checks may transiently process IP/network information.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game currently requests non-personalised ads only. Google's consent tool (Google User Messaging Platform) gathers your consent choice in relevant regions before requesting ads. Depending on your region, consent and device settings, Google may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived information, ad impressions/clicks and diagnostics as part of serving and measuring ads. The in-game "sponsored billboard" artwork is drawn only from a fixed, pre-approved set of campaigns bundled with the app — it is not personalised, does not track you individually, and does not use advertising identifiers.

In-app purchases

Purchases are made through Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check and confirm which products your store account owns, and to support the "Restore Purchases" option. This involves store transaction/entitlement information (such as a product identifier and purchase confirmation); we do not receive your card details.

Advertising enquiries

If you use the in-app "advertise with us" form, we collect your name and email address (required), and your business/brand name, an additional message and an uploaded artwork file (PNG, JPG, WEBP or PDF, up to 10MB) where you choose to provide them. This is sent to our advertising review team so we can consider and respond to your enquiry. Submitting an enquiry does not take payment or reserve a campaign.

Merchandise orders

When you place an order on the Drunk Pigeons merch store, we collect your name, email address, billing and delivery address, order details, and any correspondence with our support team, in order to process and fulfil your order via Stripe.

Support correspondence

Whatever information you choose to send us when contacting support@intiesltd.com — for example about an order, a purchase, a leaderboard issue or a privacy request.

Local device settings

Preferences such as sound, chosen pigeon and local unlock flags, stored on your device. This normally stays on your device unless a feature described above explicitly transmits it.

5. Why we use this information

We use this data to: operate the game and leaderboard; protect the leaderboard and backend from cheating, abuse and fraud; deliver, verify and restore paid purchases; serve and measure advertising, with consent where required; process, fulfil and support merchandise orders; review and respond to advertising enquiries; and respond to support and privacy requests. Depending on the feature, our lawful basis is performance of a contract (delivering the service you've asked for), our legitimate interests (protecting the service, preventing fraud), or your consent (for advertising that requires it).

6. Advertising and privacy choices

The game shows automatic interstitial ads at natural game-over transitions and an optional rewarded ad if you choose to watch one for a revive. The paid Remove Ads purchase removes automatic interstitial ads but not the optional rewarded revive ad, since that one is your choice each time.

Where consent is legally required, we use Google's consent tool before requesting ads that need it. On iOS, if an advertising partner seeks permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites, Apple's AppTrackingTransparency permission is used, and declining it never blocks you from playing.

7. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your data. We share information only where needed to run the service:

  • Apple and Google, for app distribution, store purchases, and platform privacy/security functions.
  • Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform, for advertising and consent management.
  • RevenueCat, to verify and restore in-app purchase entitlements.
  • Stripe, to process merchandise payments securely — we never see or store your full card details.
  • Our hosting/infrastructure providers, to run the leaderboard, merch store and advertising-enquiry backend.
  • Regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities where legally required.

8. International transfers

Some providers we use, including Apple, Google and Stripe, operate internationally, so personal data may be processed outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for this, we rely on an applicable adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

9. How long we keep information

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above:

  • Leaderboard player record (player ID, nickname, best scores): while the leaderboard remains active, unless deletion is requested.
  • Advertising enquiries (including uploaded artwork): kept while we review and respond to your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
  • Merchandise order records: for as long as needed for fulfilment, accounting and legal requirements.
  • Support/privacy correspondence: normally up to 24 months after resolution, unless a dispute or legal obligation requires longer.
  • Deleted data may remain in protected backups for a limited rotation period before being overwritten.

10. Security

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures appropriate for a small mobile game and merch store, including server-side validation, rate limiting, restricted secrets, and Stripe's own PCI-compliant payment security. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Children and younger players

DRUNK PIGEONS is not marketed as a service for young children, but a cartoon mobile game may be accessed by people under 18. We do not knowingly use a child's personal data for personalised advertising where that would be unlawful, and we do not provide public chat, direct messages or photo/profile upload features for players.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise any of these, email support@intiesltd.com.

Because the game deliberately avoids conventional accounts, we may need your locally held player identifier (shown in the app's Settings/Legal area) to locate a leaderboard record — we usually cannot find one from your name or email alone.

13. Deletion requests

To request deletion of your leaderboard record, contact support@intiesltd.com with your player identifier. Deleting the app or clearing local storage removes local settings from your device but does not by itself delete a server-held leaderboard record — a separate request is needed for that.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game, our suppliers, the law or our privacy practices change. We will update the date at the top for material changes and will not use an update to retroactively justify materially different processing where additional consent is required.

15. Contact and complaints

Privacy questions or requests: support@intiesltd.com. Correspondence: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. If you're in the UK and unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — we'd appreciate the chance to address your concern first, but you're not required to contact us before using your regulatory rights.

More information

This notice covers DRUNK PIGEONS specifically — the game, its leaderboard, advertising, in-app purchases, advertising enquiries and merch store. For INTIES LTD's other products, see the main INTIES privacy notice (this link leaves the Drunk Pigeons section).
